We stayed at the Hotel Opera, Kiev, for four nights at the end of June 2007 in a standard double room (No. 307) and paid UAH 750 per night (including breakfast costs 75 kann.). The staff at the hotel spoke English well and in comparison to other hotels in the Ukraine I would describe as friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was served and there was a selection of European breakfast meats and cheeses and some Ukrainian hot dishes (try the Pancake Cottage cheese and bread full of raisins - delicious!). The location of the hotel is right in the heart of this beautiful, 750 year old city. It takes about 10 minutes walk from the Rinok place that is beautiful and a great place to hang out. 15 minutes walk you can in the restaurant Amadeus where I best food in the Ukraine and ate and measured by Western standards, the restaurant has much to offer. All in all we had a good stay at the Hotel Opera, and I would would definitely return here. It is safe and you will not be disappointed. PS: The hotel also has an airport transfer for us, what cost per trip UAH 70th	10

We were in Lviv travel in September and stopped at the Opera in 4 days. This glowing novelty a small hotel in the city center, near the Opera House. Comfortable rooms, very convenient location, very generous treats for breakfast. For example, excellent pancakes with raisins and cream cheese. Lvov very elegant old city, we have not regretted that drove him to see.10 minutes walk from Market Square, there is very interesting to chat with many people. A little further on is the Amadeus restaurant in which we tried the best Ukrainian cuisine! Excellent restaurant! It seemed to me that the hotel is more focused on business rather than ordinary tourists. About the service we have had the double impression ...We tried to ask at the reception at the registrar whether it is possible through the hotel to book a ticket to the opera, and he told us quite rudely said something like, This is not a ticket office. Though the hotel and considered a 4-star, no such issues does not. The rest of the staff we were pleased. We have provided transportation to the airport when we left, only 70 hryvnia.	10
