* All our suites overlook the Waikato River and are built among eight separate cottages. None of the suites are in the main building.
* The main building consists of a main Lodge Room, which is used by guests as their living room. We entertain guests here for cocktails prior to dinner.
* Dinner takes place in our main dining room where we serve a five course set menu dinner. This menu changes daily. Next to the main dining room is our library, which can be used as a separate dining room.
* We also offer a gift shop, our Trophy Room, which can be used for private dining and small meetings and conferences, and our Wine Cellar, a separate room for dining and an active wine cellar that holds around 25,000 bottles of national and international wine. We also use the wine cellar for winetastings and special events.
* The property encompasses 17 acres and guests are more than welcome to stroll through the gardens. We also have an artificial grass tennis court, an outside spa pool, a petanque court and a croquet field. Flyfishing can be done straight off the banks of the Waikato River.

Huka Lodge is located on the banks of the Waikato River, which is the only river flowing out of Lake Taupo. We are about 500 meters above the famous Huka Falls in the center of the north island of New Zealand. Auckland is three hours away by car and one hour by plane or helicopter. Rotura is one hour away by car.
