The cuisine is Glatt Kosher international. The hotel is adjacent to the Center 1 shopping mall with many shops and restaurants. The hotel has plentiful parking for private cars and buses and is easily accessible to all parts of the city.

The Jerusalem Gate Hotel is located at the entrance to Jerusalem and is one of the first buildings you will see on your left as your arrive. The hotel is on Yirmiyahu Street just off Jaffa Road, the main street of modern Jerusalem and is only a few steps away from the Main Bus Station.
Across Jaffa Road is the International congress Center and just beyond that is the government complex with the Supreme Court, Knesset - the Israeli Parliament, the Israel Museum, the Science Museum and the Biblelands Museum, next to the Hebrew University. At the other end of Jaffa Road is the Old City which is a reasonable walk but it is a fantastic one. Once there it has an open-air market, boutiques, shoe stores, book shops, restaurants and a kaleidoscope of the various populations of Jerusalem with extremely religious orthodox Jews, Catholic nuns and monks, Muslims, pilgrims, backpackers and just plain people.
