We booked at the Hotel Rio Athens for four nights in August 3rd 2011, based on Hostelio comments and pleased to say we were not disappointed. Walking distance to anywhere in Athens, and less than 50m from the metro station in Metaxourghio with direct link to the airport. The hotel is well situated for all the things a visitor wants to see and do in Athens. On our first day a staff member spent time making sure we had all the information we needed to make the holiday a success. Reception staff were always helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. Best feature in the hotel is the helpful is Nicoleta (Hope i got the name right), who spends her mornings in the breakfast hall, and helps everyone in setting their itineraries and routes on the map. Receptionists will do the same. The Hotel Rio will be our automatic choice for any future visit to Athens. Linda Jackson London ,UK	10

We stayed in Hotel Rio Athens for a week on April 2011 at Easter days with my friends .It was a pleasant experience right from the start. .The hotel was convenient to the subway, one can easily get to most attractions Excellent service from check-in to check-out. Quiet rooms with all necessary amenities and internet wi-fi access . The breakfast was very nice. Staff was very helpful and friendly.On the ground floor there was a café and restaurant serving greek and Italian food and a travel agency next door, called the “TravelBudget.gr”. They booked for us sightseeing tours in the mainland and a short cruise to the Greek islands (By the way, they were great!). Kate Jensen New York,NY	9

De reiniging is zwak, niet de fotos niet overeen met wat men vindt er. Ligging iets uit het centrum, maar een stap verwijderd van een metrostation ... De gevel van het hotel is erg mooi.	4

Onze kamer was heel klein, donker en lawaaierig. De uitrusting was heel, heel eenvoudig. Het kan zijn schoner! Het ontbijt was heel duidelijk ... Gunstig	4

The local traffic is very convenient, but for brave people. Ik heb het niet net als op alle, dus ik geannuleerd mijn andere 2 nachten. Het personeel was zeer onvriendelijk, bijna onbeschoft. Ik werd gevraagd om een betaling te doen voor mijn verblijf voordat ik zag zelfs de kamers. Als mijn man drong aan op het zien van de kamers, was een ongedaan gemaakt, dan is de sleutel van de kamer werkte niet, en de kamer die we kregen rook van tabak. We hebben ook gevraagd of we konden onze bagage achterlaten de volgende dag als onze ferry naar Souda was om 21.00 uur, werden wij aangeboden service voor achtergelaten bagage slechts 2 uur? Ronduit belachelijk!. Het ontbijt was slecht: slechte kwaliteit eten, zelfs geen verse jus dorange. Niets. Zie hieronder.	3

La primera noche tuvimos una mala habitación no era cómoda y no había posibilidad de tomar el desayuno para obtener más de 8,00 horas (el barco partió a las 7,30) y tenemos ningún reembolso por la no utilización del desayuno. La reserva era bueno y la habitación estaba lista a su llegada	6

De faciliteit is in de badkamer een keer zou hebben geëist renovatie. Locatie is goed. Dicht bij het metrostation. Het hotel ligt in een zeer rustige ligging. Het personeel is vriendelijk. De kamer was uitgerust met een goede airconditioning. De prijs-prestatie verhouding is goed.	7

Er was een enorme constructie werkzaamheden op en het was onmogelijk om daar te gaan slapen na 8 uur. zelfs op weekend. Er was een groep van ons daar en we moesten naar het hotel te veranderen en het personeel heb t wil geen geld terug. Ook mijn vriend boekte een kingsize bed (180cm), maar die heb bestaat niet in het hotel. De grootste was 140 alleen. Ik kan dit hotel niet aanbevelen aan derden. Dit hotel hadden niets positief, dus ik hield niet van helemaal niets!	3

Moet zijn redelijk rustig in de vroege uren van de ochtend, maar sommige klanten zat onze buiten en praatten en gepraat. Eerder vervelend wanneer de geluidsisolatie slecht is in de kamers die uitkijken op de straat (winkelcentrum) zelfs met de airco gaat proberen om het geluid te verminderen. Vlakbij de metro en de toegang tot het centrum van de stad in het algemeen. Gemakkelijk te lopen vanaf het metrostation.	6

De kamer was abit klein. Zeer convient om naar het vliegveld en de bus in de buurt van de toeristische STATION.also attractions.Very rustig.	7

Verleng de handdoeken (schoon, maar te oud). Verleng dekens. In de buurt van het metrostation Metaxurghio (80m). Schoon hotel. Fatsoenlijke kamers. Nice persoonlijk. Genoeg stilte.	6

Big kakkerlakken in de badkamer. Ik had kamer zonder raam naar buiten, alleen om hotelgang. Hotel ligt in het centrum van Athene. Alles is op loopafstand. Het is in een rustige omgeving.	6

We booked this hotel for 10 days. Staff very well trained and knowledgeable about the surrounding attractions and opportunities. a small and friendly hotel, close to the Metro and the hotel where we were taken on trips. in room mini-fridge, a big plus.We included only breakfast was not bad, but more could not be expected from the hotel on this level. We went everywhere on foot but quickly go to the subway. a little worried about the noise on the street, but in general Athens bustling city at any time of day.	7
