The Switzerland village Colonia Suiza was built at the end of the XIX century, bellow the Cerro Lopez and Cerro Goye. From this point you can enjoy through the several andino?s paths, either by walking or riding. Sunday is the day where the cooking of traditional meals take place, such as the ?curanto?, ?asado?, ?empanadas? and delicious home made pastry making. ?El Fundo? is the main coffeshop and restaurant of the village, where you can taste a grate variety of meals. You can also visit the tea houses ?Susana?, ?Heidi?, ?Casa Grande? and ?Granja Suiza? among others, where you can find a great variety of natural farm products such as fruits and vegetables, tasty pies and strudels elaborated with fine fruits such as natural raspberry, strawberry and goat cheese as well.Excursions on a 4x4 van, ?canopy?, skiing on the Cerro Catedral are also other options of the many you can enjoy.
